its about 40kms before chikmagalur, Belur temple is a stunning masterpiece you have to visit it sometime, you can see shravanabelagola, belur & halebid on the same day all 3 places around 40km apart from each other, may be if you go with your own transport you can check-out the old jain temples aswell.
